Lots of changes. Got a new job. Got a few weeks off. Got some peace and quiet for the first time in a few years. Going to Baltimore next week to finally see Camden Yards.
I'm going to build a really cool box. Check out this case: A really unique computer case. This one is a special one, the case is supposedly the size of the palm of your hand. Uses a laptop drive and slim cd rom drive. One RAM chip slot, (I got a 512 MB one coming) and I'm putting in a P4 1.4 GHX chip. Should be a little monster. That's what I'll name that machine - Little Monster.
Went to the most amazing Yankee game this past Sunday. The type of game that you'll remember for years. Yanks were down 2-0 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth against the San Diego Padres. Trevor Hoffman, a great pitcher is on the mound. Up comes Hideki Matsui. He wallops one to right field. 2-1. Still, game feels like a loss. Up comes Kenny Lofton, Pabs, Hector, Stan and I all question why a light hitter is up in a crucial situation. But Joe Torre is a god and a genius. Why? Because Kenny Lofton hits a home run to tie the game. The stadium goes into pandemonium. I lost my voice. I also made fun of all the idiots who went home before the bottom of the ninth inning started. If you pay money for a ticket you stay for the whole game. Thems the rules. ESPECIALLY for a day game. But the game was only tied now. So it goes on. Nothing happens for a few innings. Until the 12th. The Padres scored 3 runs. Things look bad. Bottom of the 12. The Yanks score 4. Even more pandemonium. Amazing game. Probably the best I've ever been to. That's why you go to these things. Every so often you get to witness a classic.
