A day at the beach, a sunset on a boat and Red Lobster

The day started with breakfast on the balcony. Still digging that. Headed out to South Maui, passing through Kihei and finding parking at Wailea beach. After walking along the path by the ocean for a while, we hit the beach. Put on the suntan lotion, and got some rays. Oh, and I played Yahtzee with the waves, the big waves. I call it Yahtzee because I kept getting thrown around like the dice, but it was fun. South Maui is a tad crowded, but cool.

After, we headed back to the hotel, to get cleaned up for a sunset cruise on the water.

After a delay in boarding due to a cruise ship in the area (Princess cruises) which gunked up all the boats at Lahaina, (seriously bad too, there was a massive line to get back on the cruise ship), we headed out on the Quest for a cocktail/sunset cruise. The drinks and food was good. Many whales were seen up close too. And a good sunset.

After the cruise, I realized that the sunscreen applied earlier, didn't really do the "screening" part.

It seemed I turned into a lobster. A hairy lobster, but a lobster nonetheless. Picked up a massive amount of aloe, and went back to the room and slathered myself up in aloe, then went to sleep. You know, this gives the term "Hot Toddy" and entirely new meaning...

Tomorrow: Lahaina, a luau and "It's daylight savings time?"
