Mexico was cool, very different than what I've dealt with in the past, but still very cool. The food was great, the people were extremely nice. The air conditioning? Not so good.
I only bought ONE book on this trip, and it was a small souvenir book of Cuernavaca that I bought at the museum last Thursday. I did buy 3 CD's though:
- Ricardo Montaner - Las Mejores Canciones del Mundo II
- Vicente Fernandez - Estatua de Marfil
- Idolos de Rock & Roll - Volume 2
One thing of note is that at Seth's wedding, for the cake part - Everyone sang, to the tune of "On the beautfiul Blue Danube" - Queremos Pastel, pastel, pastel. (I want cake, cake, cake) If you can't picture the song, here's a video to jog your memory.
That was also unique...
It was a great experience and I'm glad we went down there. It's always good when you can go to a new place where you know someone already there to help you get around.
Next up, I'll blog about Seth's FIRST wedding 2 weeks ago.
Then, coming up in June, I do the crazy trip thing and head to Chicago, Dallas and Phoenix, all in the same month it seems.
