From Newark Airport to Chicago O'Hare.
On time (just about)
You realize this is as rare as winning the lotto, right?
Tuesday itself was setting up for my classes at the office in Chicago. After work, I headed out to 3 of my favorite places.
1 - Dinner at the Weber Grill restaurant. Great food here (http://www.webergrillrestaurant.com/index.html) I've been here a few times. Worth a trip.
2 - A stop at the lego store on Michigan Avenue. Just to look at toys. Legos rock. Go buy some.
3 - And, of course, my favorite bookstore here - Afterwords Books on East Illinois avenue. There, I bought these books:
- Realityland - True Life Adventures at Walt Disney World
- Star Wars - Death Star
- Marvel - The Ultimates - Volumes 1 & 2
- Further Adventures - A novel
- Emily & the Intergalactic Lemonade Stand
- Battlestar Galactica - The Cylon Death Machine and The Tombs of Kobol
Wednesday, I taught all day, met up with coworkers for drinks at Nick's Fish Market, then, headed over to Miller's Pub where I got me the infamous Miller's Butt Steak, thus having my butt handed on a plate yet again. From there, walked over to Millennium Park where I was able to see a really really really cool fireworks show that was going on at Navy Pier.
So, all in all, not a bad trip so far.
Tomorrow, work then good seats at the White Sox game.
