The last day was relatively quiet. It was raining all day, so we stayed in, packed and then headed out for lunch at the Salt Lick (http://www.saltlickbbq.com) next to Dell Diamond, home of the AAA Round Rock Express (http://www.roundrockexpress.com/). The food was good, as most BBQ in Texas seems to be.
Now, a quick note here, for the record, we stayed in Round Rock, Texas, which is just outside Austin. I just had to clarify that.
Another thing I learned on Monday flying back. Don't wait until the last second to go through security, in case you're stopped the way I was and your entire carry on is searched. Even if this is caused by a "faulty" machine (as they said), they still search the entire bag, and, while it is fun being the last on the plane, we did cut it a tad close...
And, everyone, be proud, the only books I bought were the two antique ones I mentioned!
